Mike + Carlie are college sweethearts and have been passionately married for 21 years. They are first-generation Christians with a passion to change their family’s legacy. They have been blessed with three precious children and just finished up their 16th year of homeschooling.
Together they founded Marriage Legacy Builders in obedience to the call on their lives to help Christian couples discover how to create the marriage legacy God has designed uniquely for them. They also founded the Marriage Legacy Builders Monthly Bible Study Program to help couples develop the habit of healthy communication while studying God’s Word together.
They are both Certified Life Coaches, Certified Marriage Mentors®, Bible Teachers, and co-authors of the best-selling couple’s devotional, Consecrated Conversations: 30 Conversational Devotions for Couples. Mike recently earned his M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, graduating with honors. After Mike’s retirement from the military, they moved to the coast of South Carolina and are enjoying the slower pace of life at the beach.
