Philosophy of Education

With only very young children at home to teach, I scoured the internet for ideas on how to implement the Charlotte Mason method in the younger years. So my journey into the Charlotte Mason homeschooling began.

Charlotte Mason’s first principle of education: children are born persons’ challenges us to view children through a lens of respect, empathy, and appreciation for their unique individuality.

if I could do it again, I would wait until she was six to start formal lessons. I would have prioritized and will now always prioritize character development through habit training, over lessons any day.
