The Prophetic Office of Parents

“It is probable that parents as a class feel more than ever before the responsibility of their prophetic office. It is as revealers of God to their children that parents touch their highest limitations.” – Charlotte Mason

Parents, have you ever wondered about the calling and duty that comes with raising your children? According to Charlotte Mason, it’s a prophetic responsibility to reveal God to your little ones. Now, that’s a profound duty that cannot be ignored especially in these times.

In Ana Willis’ new workshop, “The Prophetic Office of Parents”, she will take us through the Bible and Charlotte Mason’s writings, exploring our divine calling as parents and offering practical guidance on how to train our kids in the ways of God.

We know that being a parent is tough, but is also a divine gift and one of life’s greatest calling. Let’s rediscover our role as parents and fulfill our divine calling. Join us for this life-changing workshop and prepare to be inspired, motivated, and transformed. Together, let’s raise children who are grounded in the ways of God and who will take that knowledge and share it with the world.

A Charlotte Mason Education in An Orwellian and Brave New World

How to homeschool in a world where good is called evil and evil is called good? Since February 2020, we have watched the whole world shut down due to a global pandemic and the beginning of a new world that shockingly resembles a world out of Orwell’s novel 1984 and Huxley’s novel Brave New World.

According to Wikipedia, “Orwellian” is an adjective describing a situation, idea, or societal condition that George Orwell identified as being destructive to the welfare of a free and open society. It denotes an attitude and a brutal policy of draconian control by propaganda, surveillance, disinformation, denial of truth (doublethink), and manipulation of the past, including the “unperson”—a person whose past existence is expunged from the public record and memory, practiced by modern repressive governments.

In Brave New World, the 20th century nuclear familiar is abolished, a world of no sexual morals where in fact promiscuity is required. In Huxley’s Brave New World, science and technology manipulate and enslave humans.

We never thought we would be raising children and home educating them in such a crazy world, but here we are and God has us here for such a time as this! In this workshop, Ana Willis will share with you why and how a Charlotte Mason education is a God-sent tool to raise Kingdom-minded children who do not conform to the patterns of this world but know the truth that sets them free from the evil schemes of this world. It’s time to raise children that will stand strong while facing the giants of their generation.

How to Effectively Teach the Bible Daily

Did you know that 80%-90% of Christian children abandon their faith by the time they get to college? I believe this happens for their lack of the knowledge of God and understanding of His Word. Charlotte Mason makes it very clear that the knowledge of God should take the absolute priority in our homeschool. Sadly, I often hear moms saying they don’t know how and where to begin teaching their children the Bible. In this workshop, I will share with you what the Word says, what Miss Mason’s advices are, and my own experience as a Bible teacher for almost 20 years. You will leave this workshop with an action plan to daily help your children study and fall in love with God’s Word.
